Scholarships
Scholarship applications will only be accepted between January
1 - 31. Scholarships will be awarded out of a $1,000 annual
budget.
Scholarship Applicant Guidelines
- Applicant must be a current member in good standing of the ACF Pikes Peak Chapter.
- Applicant must be a member for no less than 1 year.
- Applicant must have attended a minimum of 75% of the chapter meetings within the current year.
- Applicant must explain what the funds will be used for.
- Scholarships must be used for personal/professional growth activities or a chapter representation activity. These activities include but are not limited to: conferences, seminars, competitions, conventions, and educational classes.
- Only one scholarship is available per person every other year.
- Applicant must provide any receipts and documentation necessary or requested.
- If a scholarship has been approved, the applicant must write an article for the chapter newsletter describing the scholarship activity within 2 weeks after the event. The article must be submitted to acfpikespeakchapter@yahoo.com
- Scholarship funds will only be awarded after the professional activity has been completed, unless otherwise approved by the Board of Directors. A copy of receipts and proof of attendance will be required within 2 weeks of the event in order to receive scholarship reimbursement funds.
Scholarship Criteria
- The guidelines must be met prior to submitting the application to the ACF Pikes Peak Chapter Board of Directors.
- The application will be reviewed at the next available Chapter Board of Directors meeting.
- Scholarship winners will be announced at the next ACF General Meeting in February.
- Please send the completed application (Page 2 of the scholarship application) and the completed personal response question (Page 3 of the scholarship application) no later than January 31 to acfpikespeakchapter@yahoo.com
